hey lauren, thank you for reading and the comment. that is great to hear. we also really liked the questions shared with y by melisa liberman, which we can ask each other and ourselves:
• How do you know when your mental health is in a good place? In this, we’re looking for them to give a meaningful, thoughtful description of “what good” looks like for them.
• What’s your leading measure that tells you you’ve got a mental health issue to address for yourself? In this, we’re looking for self-awareness and that they can describe 2–3 ways they proactively recognize a potential problem and can mitigate it.
• What’s your lagging measure that tells you you’ve got a mental health issue to address for yourself? In this, we’re looking for self-awareness and that they can describe 2–3 ways they reactively recognize a potential problem and know how to address it so it doesn’t become a lingering issue.
• Who do you confide in? In this, we’re looking for them to have go-to people in their inner circle whom they lean on and who are also willing to be vulnerable.
• When did you last experience imposter syndrome? In this, we’re trying to understand where their self-doubt is, and if they don’t have any, that could be a red flag.
