thank you very much for your comment michael -- and the focus today on well-being feels to us like pallative vs preventive care. the focus should be much more on how humans and work impact and how to reduce stress production at every stage of the employee lifecycle, instead of dealing with the consequence of poor job design.
the most eye opening thing for me in this collaboration was understanding more deeply the complex challenge of managing leaves and the return to work. we quantify the cost of mental health leaves but not the impact they have the people who stay back and how challenging reintegration is.
