thanks you for this and i totally agree and there is absolutely nothing wrong with it. yet at least in teh org research, there is this focus on passion and purpose. the etymology of passion is pathos and pain so perhaps we are indeed full circle.

that being said i thnk that we are a bit lost and that comes of these emotions are going into work and politics in ways that are quite unhelpful.
